The 2010 second quarter stats have just arrived! The graphs show mid year Lake Tahoe & Truckee real estate stats for 2010 (January 1-June 30).

This first graph below shows sales volume in 2009 compared to 2010. There has been a 47% increase in homes sales this year compared to last year. Condo sales have seen 100% increase in sales volume this year. The second graph compares the number of units sold. Home sales saw a 42% increase and condo sales saw 100% increase in 2010. The third graph shows the median and average price for home sales. The median price for home sales decreased 1% in 2010 and average price increased by 2%. The median price for condos decreased by 10% and the average price increased by 4%.

We have just received the 1st quarter stats for 2010. The graphs compare real estate numbers for the first quarter of 2009 and many numbers are up so far in 2010.

This first graph below compares sales in the first quarter of 2009 to 2010 and breaks them down by sales volume, median & average price, and units sold. Sales volume for single family homes increased by 22% this year and condo sales increased by 174%. The median & average sales prices decreased in 2010 for both single family homes and condos. The units sold increased for both homes and condos in 2010.

The second graph breaks down the sales by price banding and by area and includes Incline Village, East Shore Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Tahoe City, South Lake Tahoe, Sparks, Reno & Carson Valley.
