2010 Lake Tahoe & Truckee Real Estate Stats
The 2010 Lake Tahoe and Truckee real estate stats have just come out! Overall, the market numbers are looking good for the Tahoe Basin!
The charts below compare year end stats in 2010 with 2009. The first graph shows sales stats for Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe saw an increase in sales volume and units sold for single family homes in 2010. Condo sales also saw an increase in units sold and sales volume for 2010. The median home sale price decreased in 2010 for both single family homes and condos.
The second chart shows sales information for Truckee. Sales volume and the number of units sold for single family homes increased or stayed the same in 2010. Condo sales increased in both areas for 2010. The average sale price for single family homes and condos increased in 2010. The median price of single family homes and condos decreased from 2009 to 2010. The average sale price for single family homes decreased and the condo sales price stayed the same.
The third chart shows the sales for 2010 in each area. Each area had the most activity with sales in the lesser price ranges.
